A collection of poems gathered from the poets works translated into French, published in Paris in 2006. The translation into French was undertaken by the Moroccan poet Maati Kabbal, Director of Cultural Activities at the Arab World Institute, and introduced by the French critic Jean-Pierre Simeon, Artistic Director of the Spring of Poets Foundation in France. It was published by Paris-Mediterranee as part of their series of publications entitled (No Place Non-Lieu).
Moreover, The Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Paris, in cooperation with the Spring of Poets Foundation of the French Ministry of Culture, organized a reception and a poetry recital to inaugurate the publication of the first Bahraini poetry collection in French. During that recital, the poet recited his poems in Arabic and the text was read in French by theater actress Nathalie Fleon, to the tunes of the oud of artist Fawzi Al-Aidi, on Wednesday evening, 14 June, at the Claret Hotel in the Bercy area, east of the French capital, Paris.
